and for those who wanted to watch the TRAILER

"My stockings lip them"
>"what?"
"hey!!!" "lip my stockings!"
>"lip them!?" "what?"

I just thought that part was kinda funny

The film seems like it would be pretty funny, but i don't know too much about the soundtrack.

Thanks zbuddah. Besides American Splendor and a couple documentaries, this is the only movie I've really cared about coming out this year (and I see a ton of films, have a cinematography degree, go to Sundance every year, etc.). This could be very cool, people!

I finally bought this soundtrack, and have a love-hate thing going on with it. It's got a cold, and lonely vibe about it and that is probably the desired effect, but that's not the kind of stuff I like to listen to. On the other hand, this music is very compelling, just like the movie, and I can't get it out of the cd player. I'm fascinated in the direction Kevin Shields has taken his music, and I'm entranced by tracks from Death In Vegas, and Air. Overall, I'll give this cd a very enthusiastic thumbs up! Nice one blessingx.

Lost in Translation was a wonderful movie. It perfectly captures the idea of jetlag. It also has some pointed commentary on life in America (and also in Japan.) It does fall apart a bit in the last third of the movie, but I still recommend it.

I listened to samples that Amazon had, and this led me to check newest DEATH IN VEGAS album.........I was not impressed with previous two efforts but the samples from new album "Scorpio Rising" sound great. I will very likely purchase this,
dam you guys cost me money again!

i've been planning on buying this soundtrack ever since i saw the film. i've never listened to my bloody valentine though.

lost in translation and kill bill are the only good movies i've seen this year (cept for a couple decent ones like pirates of the carribean, x-men 2, and freddy vs. jason.. heh). i highly suggest seeing it, and anybody in the academy better vote bill murray for best actor when he gets nominated!

It's pretty hard for me to dislike any pirate movie. Yarrrr! I'm a guy who not only waits for movies to get to video, but for them to get to tv

. I don't watch movies, but I did watch the first two on your list, grinch. Heck I could watch 'em over and over in the theatres. Just great eyecandy!

DA, I'm seeing warmish reviews to the Scorpio Rising cd, but I think it would appeal to us Brit pop fans anyway.
