Hi all,

My SR60s have developed a buzzing in the right ear. To say the least I'm gutted. However it is an opportunity for me to move on. This would be for my work setup. Right now it is Laptop>TBAAM>SR60 What would everyone recommend given that I may also move to a Bithead in the future.

Thanks
Ian

Assuming your SR60 is beloved and you are using an amp then I would recommend the SR225.

That happened to my SR60 as well, a real shame, I loved the highs on it, still haven't heard anything as good (in regard to highs anyway).

Use a flashlight and a magnifier to look at the can in detail. You may have a hair stuck and is causing the buzzing. Even if you do not see one use a bit of compressed air to blow on the can.

This is a very common issue with Grados. Good luck.

Go for the Headroom micro and matching dac if you can afford it. Then you can get any headphone. And never replace the Bithead.
