MX75 foams - recommended for PK1, PK2 and other earbuds

As the MX75 isn't that available in the EU, I organized myself a cheap LX70 instead (15€ at ebay). Took those silicone rings and simply threw the rest away.

My personal findings with the PK1:
  • The smaller silicone rings sound very similar to the stock punched foams - sweeet mids and "audiphile", but a bit on the thin side of things
  • The small silicome rings paired with the punched foam is a kind of hiphop combo, the deep bass become a senseable extra layer (just to be heared before), the overall sound becomes a bit darker, and I got an "amped" soundstage already unamped. Downside: Bass veils the mids a bit
  • The bigger silicone thingies seem to provide the best sealing, but the sound becomes a bit too mids heavy for my personal taste.
To be honest, I can't really decide. A compromise between 1 and 2 would be perfect...
