what's up with it? I just got a pair yesterday, and I already broke one of the little foamy things because they were so hard getting on - where can I buy a replacement?

and also, is the volume control supposed to be next to useless? If I put it all the way to minimum, the sound volume is still at a normal listening-level - e.g. the difference between MIN and MAX is not a whole lot with my specimen, is this the way it's supposed to be?

as a positive note, the sound quality seems impeccable though =)

You can buy replacement pads at radio shack.

The volume control doesn't really make that much of a difference. . . I mean, its not like mute. . .

you should have some electronics-parts-store even in Denmark. y'know, where they sell all sorts of cables, cartridges, connectors, maintenance stuff, spare parts etc etc. usually in the larger towns.

Hmmm. The sliding in-line volume control on my Sony 821's completely mutes the sound when turned all the way down, too.

Maybe something wrong with your Senn's?
