MuxicBox Steranko 40
Introducing the MuxicBox Steranko 40, a top-of-the-line, 40-driver hybrid IEM (20 drivers per side) designed by Paul Cheung. Each piece is meticulously hand-assembled by a highly skilled artisan, ensuring the utmost attention to detail in every component—from drivers to cabling and custom case.
The Steranko 40 features a sophisticated driver configuration: 2 coaxial drivers dedicated to bass, 4 balanced armature drivers for the mids, another 4 balanced armatures for mid-to-high frequencies, 2 balanced armatures focused on high frequencies, and 8 electrostatic drivers delivering ultra-high frequencies. Only the highest quality drivers are used, sourced from Knowles, Sonion, and custom-crafted units from Japan.
The 10-core shielded cable, oil-immersed and made with 99.99% pure gold strands, includes a unique chin splitter that offers superior stability. The IEM comes with an elegant display case that doubles as a music box. While these IEMs are not part of a limited edition, their production is exclusive, with each unit taking up to two months to craft—allowing for only around 30 units to be produced each year.
A full review will follow soon, where I’ll discuss the sound quality in detail after the Steranko 40 has undergone a thorough burn-in process and testing across multiple genres. Initial impressions, however, suggest an unmatched level of detail and refinement in its performance.
For MuxicBox customers, Paul remains dedicated to delivering the latest in cutting-edge technology and exceptional audio craftsmanship

Update to the MUXICBOX S40: Is now my #1 most used IEM. I did change the cable and am running it off the new iBasso DX340. It is the very best sound overall that I have ever heard. I spend hours each night with it in my head... I have a set of the PMG Apx SE's and I still grab the S-40 more nights then not.. It is truly a beautiful set. You truly should give it a try.

I’m very intrigued but the S40 and have contemplated a blind buy the past 24 hours, but ultimately I think I need to wait for more impressions 😏

I can confirm that @Trance_Gott review is honest and true. S40 is a fantastic iem, if you’re looking for fuller, musical and balanced tuning (depends on the cable used).
The build quality is also clean and excellent, the stock cable is probably the best quality I’ve seen so far.

Thanks. Fuller and musical is basically my thing. If my understanding is correct it’s more a mid-focussed set, with tasteful (not over-emphasised) bass and treble? To be fuller in presentation I’m assuming there’s a bump in lower mids and a resulting warmth coming through too? (I gleaned from the review in question that there’s warmth akin to Trifecta, but a completely different top end to that IEM).

IMO S40 isn’t standard mid focused tuning, I would rather consider an iem like VE Phönix to be mid focused. With most cables I’ve tested S40 is basically balanced with slightly elevated DD bass of superb quality. Mids are warm and thick, especially lower mids, but the separation of bass and mids is done very well. Treble is always smooth and non fatiguing, but not thinned or recessed. A lot of detail and air. Stage is also impressive.
Just by my memory I’d say the bass quantity is somewhere between Camelot and Fei Wan. In some way S40 reminds me of Traillii with more and DD bass, fuller mids and better resolution, just to give you some idea of the tuning.
