I did a search and there are only a very small amount dedicated to the muvo slim, most of them just specs prior to the slim launch.

My question is targeted towards those using it for portable use, how is it going so far? what headphones/earphones are you using? and what is the build quality? Do you regret purchasing it? and do you have pics of it? thanks!

There's only one thing I can find wrong with this player, it's the lack of volume (even maxed out, it's not as loud as I'd like.) Everything else though, is perfect. Even the earbuds that came with the player are great, although a little big for my ears, they have great sound IMO. I love the custom EQ, once set it's like heaven compared to having it flat.

Here's a pic of mine and the headphones I've used with it (currently use the MDR-V300s)

I find that it is an excellent player. The volume can be lacking if you use ineffecient headphones, but with my Sennheiser mx500's 30/40 is a good listening level.

The interface is as 'intuitive' as the interface for an mp3 player should be. I haven't used the manual at all.

The build quality is excellent (with a really nice aluminium back).

Sound quality is very good, and is at a level where defects in badly encoded mp3's can easily be distinguished.

Oh yes....I almost forgot....battery life is indeed 17 hours. My battery needed a few cycles, but now those specs are being matched.

I most definitely do not regret buying it.

I think its one of the best looking (read: stylish) players out there, and it is perfectly suited to being placed in a shirt pocket.

I must point out, however, that this is my first mp3 player, but compared to the cheap-line stuff that is usual for flash-based mp3 players, this one is most impressive.

Recommended!

sweetness, the silver 512Mb version is on its way via amazon,

I dont mind the low volume, I knew this would happen from such a tiny player, I ordered a super mini moy along with it, it will be powering my Grado sr-80s with flat pads, and a custom braided silver/teflon right angle interconnect via Drew

Im just worried about how the cable may be a hassle, other then that, the muvo slim and super mini moy should stack back to back perfectly.

I have the Creative Muvo Slim. It's a great unit: excellent SQ, 18hr rechargable lithium battery (backup battery on ebay is only a few bucks), intuitive scroll wheel, and very slim.

My only complaint is the low volume. Using the stock earbuds, with max volume 40, the volume is loud, but not loud enough for you to feel the music.

Does anyone know if the Creative Muvo N200 has a higher watt output than Muvo Slim?

I have a Muvo NX, and I recently discovered a nasty little problem. Hopefully it won't be the same with yours, but when I transferred the Pink Floyd album "Animals" to it, the player has trouble dealing with the long play time of Dogs. Yesterday the play time wouldn't track it, and then it stopped playing it altogether. Yech. I will continue to use this for exercise use, but it looks like I have to look into another player, probably one with a bigger harddrive, for casual, main use.

If I am in an extremely crowded place using my open, cheapy sony earphones, the max volume is still very loud. I usually play it around 30 for walking around outside, 20 for in the library, and 40 if I really want to rock out and it is loud around. I never had a bit of a problem with the volume, but I don't like really loud music anyway, so I might not be the best person to ask.
