Does the MD10 come with a user manual? I purchased a used one and it did not come with one. I tried to contact a place that sells them online and they said they do not have extras they can send me. That's really bad customer service.

Also, is the display suppose to light up? Mine does not so it's very hard to see it.

Yeah it comes with a little manual and the lcd lights up. Sounds like maybe you got a refurb unit. The only thing the manual says about the lcd is to to check the power connection.

Bad customer service? Hardly - you expect retailers to carry extra manuals for all gear they have in stock on the off chance someone wants one? And when you got in touch with the store that you didn't purchase your goods from and asked them for a manual, they didn't have one? Disgusting!

Sounds more like bad purchasing to me - you don't know what comes in the box, don't know how the unit operates and don't seem to have checked the unit was in proper working order before purchasing...

Perhaps get in contact with the manufacturer and see if they would be willing to sell you one or advise where to find one?
