I'm currently using MusicBee on my laptop which is accessing my music library from an SD card, and my DAC / Amp is connected to my laptop via USB.
I really love MusicBee and would like to continue using it, but I want to offload my library to a network device like a Raspberry Pi with a connected hard drive, and have that directly connected to my DAC / Amp.
My question is, can I control my library / playback on the Pi from my laptop with MusicBee or do I have to use something like Volumio? Is it possible to see the hard drive as a network attached drive that I can point MusicBee to?
Or is there a better yet similar budget solution?
