Musical Savants

I just watched a show on Discovery Health called Musical Savants.....simply amazing!! Its about two blind autistic piano players who do a concert together. Both began to play piano at a very young age - like around 2 yrs. old. They can pretty much repeat anything they hear musically = but can also improvise unbelievably well. Its such an amazing mystery.... keep an eye out for it on Discovery --- you'll enjoy it!!

I saw the same show.

Simply amazing. Like rainman, but instead of counting matches they play music.

Yeah - it really is amazing. Makes you wonder how the brain really works when it comes to music - or I guess any specific ability that savants are able to display.
