Hey mate good to see another western australian head-fi'er. Just incase your interested 'yossi' has a Corda HA-2 amp for sale in the amp forums and is located in WA aswell... so you would be able to check one of them out aswell.

Headphonics has been around for a few years operating from their website, and more recently opened their store in north perth. Great Guy, Great products.

Cheers

X-Can v3 is an improvement on the v2 without a doubt, but I think you can get better amps for the kind of money MF want for the v3. For example, I think the Perreaux and Rega Ear both show the v3 a clean pair of heals, and I bet the Corda HA-1 Mk2 would as well.

If you want a valve amp, save up and get a decent one.

Ask TonytripleA (a member here) what he thought of the XCans V3
