Don't miss The Exploration Project live at The Yippie Cafe- May 16th,2009 at 8pm. The Yippie Cafe is located at 9 Bleecker Street-between Bowery and Elizabeth- in Greenwich Village, NYC. This is a free admissions event.
The Exploration Project is Scott Rifkin on Guitars, Matt Posner with Poetry, Eric Henty Painting Abstractions and Karen Henty with Vocals and Percussion.
Yes! The Yippie Cafe Museum is the former home of Abbey Hoffman and his wife Anita. It was the place where many events of the 1960s counter cultural movement were planned. Don't laugh too hard but It is now New York State funded landmark cafe and museum of the 1960s Counter Cultural Movements.
