A thought just occured to me -- if I have a DVD-Recorder deck and a DVD recorder on my computer can I put strictly AUDIO on a DVD-R or DVD+RW and listen to it like a CD and fit 4.7GB of audio on it?
Obviously its not technically a CD -- but can this be done?

Absolutely. I mean, it needs to follow one of the accepted formats, like DVD-V or DVD-A, which I think needs some bare minimum of pictures, but just put some sort of minimal screensaver on there, assign the .wav files as the soundtrack, and voila!

(This is all theoretically, I haven't done it myself, yet.)
