Music Hall CD-25 clone!

Apparently, that famous Shanling player has more than two rebadges. In addition to the popular Onix XCD-88 and the Music Hall CD-25, there is also the Usher CD-100!

I wonder if this CDP has the same op-amps as the CD-25...

Ahh man...I wish I could go back and buy one of those instead of having gone for my Music Hall, in a way. Could have used the money saved to put towards getting my player modded even more than I did. Oh well!

Yes. Other than the name on the face-plate, it's exactly the same CD player (I got one off of Audiogon a couple of years ago -- a great deal!!)

BTW: Musichall is putting out a CD-25.2 based on a newer DAC (1738) and a different transport mechanism. It doesn't seem to be listed on Shanling's site at the moment, but it is on the MusicHall one.
