I had a bottle of beer, suddenly find out that the music coming out of my D2000 tastes more beautiful.
Rock, I can hear more details than without beer, drums hit more tight and apparent in the background, treble more separeated, the whole piece of music more balanced also, piano and violin are delivering more pleasant melody.
Is this because some part of functions in my brian changed to the beer? I believe a small amout of alcohol will make the sense of listening more clear and add extra taste to the sound art to the brian processing.
Or the different listening experience is a mere result of longer burning time of the headphones.

When we are drunk our brain loses control, we're out of control, but the headphones is still in control of music. I think our brain changes our hearing, making the music better/worse. Are you drunk?

Beer makes everything better, not just headphones.

Artistic creativity is also said to increase when our abilities are impaired since our critical faculties become subdued. Some variation of this may be what you are experiencing. This may also explain why so many of our great artist were addicted to some drug or the other.

I agree when we are drunk, everything we see, we hear, we feel is better and prettier. The more we are drunk, the better and prettier.

I will admit he probably has more control over his fingers than I would. For better or for worse.

Lol yet another of these threads. Get a Grado and you won't have to worry about not enjoying your music

Personally, I don't find that beer makes too much of a difference when listening to music. Some Jack on the other hand...

Of course this is only a once in a while thing
