Just a quick question ..

Anyone going to see Muse on their current North American Tour? Or has already seen it?

Wife and I are off to see them on Tuesday at Red Rocks, which is an odd venue for them to play as theres no flat area - so no moshpit type area at the front.

(we have seats at the front for my wife in her wheelchair - they reserve row 1 for diabled fans. And they're reserved seats too, row 1, absolutely dead centre, which is kinda handy as it's general admission and i can't get off work early)

I missed the show in Mass, didnt know that they were over here. Would have went if I knew. I heard Muse is up there for top live bands with the Arctic Monkeys.

I saw Muse at Lollapalooza in August and they put on a very solid show-- it was my first time seeing the guys live, so I didn't really know what to expect, but I've been a fan of theirs for years.

Saw them last summer (06) in Montreal. Great show, I'm sure you and your wife will love it.

Same here. By the time I found out that they'll be in Mass, the tickets were already sold out. A few more years of wait...

i'm sorry, but are you being serious!?

Muse are in a completely different league to the Arctic Monkeys!!! I have seen Muse a few times now adn they have totally blown me away every time, one of the finest live bands i have ever seen. The Arctic Monkeys i have seen twice and both times i have been deeply disappointed, pure hype, i shall probably never go see them again.

I saw them on the Absolution tour and they put on an excellent show. His solo in Butterflies and Hurricanes was spot on. The extent to which he rips off Rachmaninov was even more obvious live. :P

I don't know that I'd want to see them on any new tours though, unless they severely cut back on post-Absolution material.

I don't know much about Rachmaninov, but I can say that muse put on one heck of a show. Very good live.

Damn loud too. Way louder than Rush were in the same venue. In fact in the final song (Stockholm Syndrome) it was almost too loud (we were front and center - I can't imagine hoe loud it was in front of the side stacks

Next up for us is a much more sedate Tori Amos

I saw them open for My Chemical Romance in April. Absolutely amazing performance (not the best idea for a tour though, the bands seem to flat-out have different fan bases), Matthew Bellamy is truly a genius. The way he manages to move clear across the stage between his guitar and piano astounds me...

Seeing them when they come down to Melbourne in November. Can't wait.
