I have 2 amps at home, proper amp and headphone amp, and my proper amp doesn't keep the outs running when in mute (and worst of all the volume doesn't turn down all the way some strange "Feature" on electrcompaniet amps :S) anyway so back to it:
I'll be building a balanced DAC and a Balanced Dynamight shortly thereafter. I was wondering how it was possible to put 2 sets of balanced outputs on the dac, and if it was possible to do without putting 2 output stages.
The output stages currently consist of an opa627 + 2sc1815 transistor follower biased into the sky.
One amp has an input impedance of 50kohm, and the other 330kohm (not a typo).
The idea was to make this a no-holds barred source, so sugest something simple but not skimpy! If it gets really nasty I'll put up with swapping cables.
