I recently got hold of this beautiful wall-hanged CD-player from Muji, which only has inbuilt speakers, and no line-out nor headphones jack.
How can I build in a line-out/headphone jack into it, so that I can hook it up to my amplifier and get more sound (and bass) out of it?
Just taking the internal speaker wires and attaching them to a line-out cable is not the right thing to do right? Do I have to make some kind of circuitry?

Here are the specs of the components inside the CD-player:

cd-player:
sampling frequency 44.1kHz
freq. range 20Hz ~20kHz

speaker unit:
3.5cm full-range x 2
impedance 3 ohm

amplifier:
2W x 2 (EIAJ)
freq. range 50Hz ~20kHz

Any help or tips on this mod would be greatly appreciated!

if it uses a normal stereo potentialmeter, you can tap out the line out signal at the pot (the input leads).

If it has digitally controlled volume then getting the line out will be a lot trickier, you will need to look into the schematic to find the signal.

Yes, it uses a normal stereo potentialmeter, since its a volume wheel for changing the volume.

BUT, I thought there is a risk for damaging the CD-player or the amplifier, if I simply connect a line-out cable at the signal at the pot, since it's 2W going out,
and a normal amplifier only handles input-signal in the mW range??

the pot is between the pre-amp and the power amp of the CDP. If you get the signal from the pot it is the perfect level for an external amp (unless if you want to hook it to a super high power amp then you will need an external pre-amp too...)
