I'm not sure if someone already posted about this, but in case you haven't already seen it, MSNBC.com has an article online titled What to buy the tech savvy?. A few of their recommendations? Sennheiser HD-600, Koss KSC-50 and KSC-55, and, believe it or not, even a PS Audio Mini Lab Cable (an audiophile power cord).
