My impressions after 100 hrs:
The mSeed Spirit offers a nice musical presentation. I am very satisfied. There is lots of power with a rich full sound. Of several home and portable amps I have owned over the years the Spirit stands as one of the better in any price range.

The Spirit creates a depth of silence, a backstage of silence, that is amazing. The music is surrounded in this quiet field of richness that gives the mSeed Spirit amp a nice powerful musical presentation, a solid portable amp.

The amp pairs nicely with my Equation Audio Headphones.

Thanks for your dandi impressions, David!

Is there variable settings as on the Faith.

Any idea what the major diffs are between the two amps?

There is a two position gain switch inside the Spirit, unity gain for IEM's and the other position for large headphones. I haven't tried the unity setting yet with my 32ohm cans. I read that the now sold out Faith amp had digital gain adjustment. From what I read at the mSeed web site the amps are two different pieces of audio engineering. The Faith looks to be of a more classic design while the Spirit has a more innovative approach using JEFT technology and a large Blackgate cap. www.mseedlabs.org/spiritAmp.html
