MS2i recable

Do the Alessandro MS2i benefit from being recabled? Do they need to be recabled to sound good?

Depends .... I have a MS2 with a cardas recable. The sound is different but I would not say better. In fact, on most of my tube amps I prefer the stock cable. The cardas takes the sound a little to far on the warm/ dark side with most tube sets. However, with my tube amps I can play with the tube sets and usually get the MS2/ cardas to sound essentially as good as the stock MS2. What I like most about my recable is the 10' length and no twisting with the center split.

The MS2 definitely does not need to be recabled to sound good. The stock MS2 is excellent as is.
