MS-1 are no contest when compared to the KSC-75s. But they are ~$80 more expensive and alot larger and unwieldy. Stronger bass, clearer mids and nice, sharp highs.

Kramer, I'd also be curious how the MS-1s compare to your MS-2s. I've been thinking of upgrading to MS-2s and am curious to what more I could expect from them.

yup... but not always, at least to me. with environmental noise, more than often i prefer my KSC-35 to MS1.

Well last night I took my MS1 with me to work at the local supermarket where I fill the shelves. I normally listen to my KSC75 but one of the clips has been lost so I can't wear them at the moment.

However I'm almost glad that I did lose a clip!! I've not listened to my MS1 for a while as at home I generally listen to my DT880 or my HD555 depending on which sound I prefer for the music I'm listening to. The MS1 doesn't get much listening at home.

At work last night though all my music seemed much different to me then what I normally hear, it even sounded such amazing even though I had to listen unamped - my PA2V2 seems to be playing up so I need to contact Gary and ask his advice about it.

All in all.... MS1 rocks!!

hey, my ms-1 are also on the way and i cant wait lol. Im thinking of ordering some hd414 pads for them whilst im waiting. Can someone let me know if the "HD414/HD414 Classic Earpads" are the ones i am after. What is the SL version on this link?

The MS-1 is a very nice headphone, I like mine a lot. Works great straight from my laptop too or my DAP, it's nice when an amp is not a necessity.
