Anybody tried a FAW Noir Hybrid cable with ether or maybe even with Flow already?
It's on the top of my list... First I have to wait for the Flow to become available in Germany... End of September is what my local dealer told me.

It's a well made beautiful cable no complaints..Ah mines not the hybrid but is the latest copper...
I find it hard to hear subtle differences but I wouldn't be without it for My 1.1 Ether

Hopefully getting myself a Norne Zoetic soon for the Ether C. Supposed to have little to no microphonics and really light then that will be "it" for at least a year... No, really this time... well a better made optical cable wouldn't hurt... or a headphone stand...

​Got any news on the Ether C Flow? From the Flows I see only the open back version. Mrspeakers Europe has neither listed yet.

That's before you select the cable. the cheapest option is around 1995 Euros.
you can also change the currency. it should shipp in middle of September.

Headphone jack 3.5 mm is not listed when you order, and also i prefer 1.2 m , 1.8 m is too long for portable use.

I'm a fan of the WyWires Red with Ethers. Assuming the synergy will be there with the Flows as well. Have not heard the Platinum, but trust Alex when he says it's a noticeable step up.

Best to find a dealer where you can swap out cables and listen for yourself. (Wink wink).

Thought I didn't get an upgrade email but I did! So now I need to make a dicission whether to stay with open of switch to closed back.

Any (more) people who have heard flow vs c flow and are willing to say which they prefer? Most comments are from people who heard either one but both.

Problem is £1700 is still a huge increase of price compared to the US price or that of the original ethers.. I'd love to know how many European preorders they have taken at this price.

Let's hope once released they rethink the price as I'd still love a pair
