I just got my headphones and I don't have notes under the headband showing the tuning.  Do the new ones still show the tuning under the headband or somewhere else ?

Notes under the headband?  Tuning?  Please explain.

That is only Mad a dog. There are no revisions for Alpha Dog.

Oh gosh, total brain fart.  No, we were having troubles with the version sticker adhering to leather properly, the tanning makes this almost impossible.  So we switched to a white sticker on the inside lip of the box, lower left.   Prime has no revisions.

Is clockwise turns more bass or less bass?

at first I tried 1/2 turn clockwise but seemed to much I didn't like it.  1/4 turn seems good maybe I will go to just 1/8 later.

My Alpha Primes sound so good with Dan's tuning that I have never even considered changing anything.  To each his own I suppose.

+1 I have to do anything to my Alpha Prime's. The Prime's sounded perfect to my ears, right out of the box and I have no need to mess, with perfection.

I like little more bass. 1/4 turn and removing the disc gave me the sound I wanted. Ever so slightly more punchy and stingy. It was perfectly smooth before with just one disc in and no adjustments. Probably perfect for jazz, classic rock, or laid back. But for music I listen to it sounds good with little more impact.
I love the fact that I can change it back later if I change my mind.

Has anyone else had issues with ear cups squeaking when you move your head or when you take them on or off.  I have had my headphones for just a week now and the right side already started making a squeaking sound.  I believe the sound is coming from were the headband meets the cups.

I've had mine for a year and no squeaks. You might want to talk to Dan

They sound so good I think I can live with it.
