Hey Head-fi Nation,

I'm looking for a cheap mp3 player that I can run around with and doesn't need much memory. I've been searching through some economic mp3's but they all require AAA batteries and I think that will be money wasting long term wise.

Any suggestions??

Thanks in advance,

Check out the Creative Zen Stone.... $40.

I've got the YP-U2 and like it -- Samsung has since come out with two more "stick" players (or at least they've been announced -- don't know whether they're on the shelves yet).

I also have the Creative Zen Stone, and at its price, especially, it's a winner, too.

The Stone sounds very "neutral" and clear, and uses (I'm not kidding) a three- or four-inch USB cable that comes with it. The Samsung has more sound options and has the USB plug built in. There are advantages to both, and both sound pretty nice.

I loved my Sandisk Sansa Express - loaded with features for $20 cheaper than Shuffle.

The Zen Stone looks cool too.
