Hey there,
Looking for a mass media device for my car for "portable" audio.
Trying to decide between two options.
Option 1 : Dvd Changer
Sony DVX-100 10 disc dvd changer
Thing is im not sure if this thing will play dvd-mp3s cuz if its going to just be another cd mp3 player with respect to audio, its not worth it to me at all. However if i can store 4.7gb x 10 giving me basically a 50g mp3 player with video capability and dts etc then i definately am.
Option 2 : Harddrive based mp3 player
Ipod
Iriver

Zune
Gigabeat

I dont know which mp3 player offers the best SQ, which is all im looking for. has to be 30gb minimum and has to play formats that are typical of SQ, lossless, that kiinda stuff.
Since you guys deal with this on a regular basis, i think this is where i should be asking. I will be buying a Zu [high end audio manufacturer] 1/8 to rca cable to attach the player so thats no issue. Looking for raw SQ in an mp3 player, really at any format. I know its hard to imagine the two in the same sentence but what is the best comparable sq in the mp3 player world???
