Basically, as the title suggests. I am looking for an MP3 player no bigger than the Mont Blanc to use out and about as the sound produced by my Huawei P20 is terrible.
Can anyone suggest something up to £100 or thereabouts?

There is xDuoo x10. 2 memory card slots, line out (you can use with E12a). AK4490 dac chip. Plays a lot of formats. No radio though and no Android OS or streaming services (Tidal, Qobuz and such). No touch screen, is wheel navigation type.

PS: There is Rockbox for it adding a lot of customization. If you haven't heard what that is, no worries. It can be used without it.

There is xDuoo X3 II - that is as the X10 above, but improved version. Buttons instead of wheel navigation and added equalizer options. But is out of stock everywhere. If you find it somewhere though, is not a bad choice. Is more durable due to the buttons vs wheel. Will last you longer. Only 1 memory card slot though. Shanling Q1 i read good opinions as well.

There is also Hidizs AP80: https://www.hidizs.net/products/ap80-high-resolution-portable-music-player - from this model there is also AP80 Pro, some improvements over AP80. If is found on sale is around same price as stock AP80 non pro.

All these can be used with E12a. They were overall cheaper in....like 1 year ago than what they are now.
