I am looking to get one for my mom for her wedding aniversary coming up shortly. Any suggestions?

I have a pc, she wont be using good phones unless she borrows my etys.

Would like to have it hold around 2 hours of music.

Price should be under $200. $150 would be much better.

I have looked at creative and rio any other good ones to look at?

sorry for spelling and grammar. I am dumb.

muvo 128. i've never owned one but i've heard good things, and the drag and drop ease of use should be a plus.

I Second that, get her the Muvo or new Muvo NX. Simplicity is what parents need or else they won't be able to use the toy. Drag n Drop simplicity is good. There are better buys in that price range, but you probably want as little features/controls as possible so there is no confusion on how to work it.

Get CW300, it has cool armband case and belt clip. A bit pricey tho. Since you only have a $200 budget, get the CW200.

Is MP3 absolutely necessary? Solid state memory is expensive, and isn't that big (128-256 max).

I personally went with MD. *hugs my netMD* Plus, MDs are cheap!

thanks all for the help.

I ending up getting the new 256 mb iriver. Me and my Dad are going to teach her how to used it. It does not seem to hard.

Yeah, about md, I could not take her into it. To confusing I guess.

marmot, good call. the iRiver iFP-390T is, in my opinion, the "Best Buy" of all flash-based MP3 players. the most features for an under-$200 device. i made a detail review on it here if you do a search in this forum.

Thanks austonia, I checked out the reivew before I picked it up. I did a search like good boy and found as much info I could.

To bad best buy did not have it on sale this week though.

Atleast my mom really likes it.
