I want to move a for sale thread I made 3 weeks ago into the for sale archives
 
how does this work? Will it automatically go into archives or do I have to manually do it it. If so how?

The For Sale/Trade Archives are for the old style of classified threads, and are there for reference only now.
 
If you need to end your classified thread, you can close a thread in the new For Sale/Trade forums by following these instructions.
