To borrow this topic from chadbang's thread, what movie(s) would you like to see released on dvd?

My vote goes to "Monster Squad"

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093560/

What a fantastic kids movie thats actually well done and very entertaining. Think i'm gonna have to breakdown and buy the VHS for the time being. I remember seeing this one in the theater because it was freezing in the theater! It took a good 10 minutes to warm up after leaving the theater and it was hot that day.

Star Wars Trilogy (original theatrical version)

Metropolitan, which is a great movie by Whit Stillman.

Currently, here's some off the top of my head. They may or may not have been already transferred; but if not, here's the list.

Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House
Operation Petticoat

All of these movies have been released as Region 1 DVD's. Not sure about anywhere else.

I'd pay up to $200 for that one! The freakin ruined the originals with the exception of a few select scenes.

I'll cast a vote for Quick Change with Bill Murray, Geena Davis, Randy Quaid, and Jason Robards. Classic!

Yeah, I like that Lucas remastered the film and soundtracks for the DVDs, and even the small corrections to the original images are fine...but he really screwed up the movies with alterations to the scenes, none of which added in a positive way to the original. Han will forever have shot first for me!

I'm still waiting for a region 1 quality transfer of Lost Highway.
According to reviews at Amazon, there is a good release in Germany of this movie and poorly done version released in Canada.
Another movie I would like to see out again (it was released once a long time ago) is Double Indemnity.

c'mon man Han was the only one who shot! Gweedo never got a shot off in the original. The Millenium Falcon lift off from Mos Eisley was a good scene as was the end with the rebel attack on the Death Star. Everyting else just ruined it... especially that stupid flute hippie crap song at the end of Jedi. Ok, I'll stop now... sorry for the rant

I own Dark Crystal on DVD.

Must be fairly obscure because even though I have the VHS version I have not yet come across the DVD version though now I guess it is time to do a "google" and rectify the situation

Not a movie, but I've been looking for years for the suddenly cancelled series:
"Now & Again". It is the best TV series I have ever watched with the right balance of action, romance and heart-warming humour.
