Is it just me or has this band had some horrible sounding records in their career. Wow talk about harsh recordings.

I was listening to the Remastered Ace Of Spades from Motorhead at the weekend.
My parents had gone out shopping, I had the house to myself so I let 'er rip! so to speak and found that although the sound was a little biased towards the brighter end of the spectrum, I wouldn't really call it harsh.
FWIW it was being played on Krell MD10 / Studio >-- Nordost Red Dawn silver ICs > Audiolab 8000q Pre >-- Nordost Red Dawns >-- 2 x Tube Technology Genesis (EL34s in superlinear) >-- QED Genesis Silver Spkr Cables >-- ProAc Response 1SC
Overall, I think my system is just a touch on the bright side.
I was more than happy with the sound. On my old Naim CD3.5 the Motorhead would have been virtually unplayable I think.
