Motörhead lead by Lemmy Kilminster (sp?), the band that nearly took my hearing away in late 70s or early 80s. Not that I'd seen them live but was using my sister's Sennheiser HD414s the volume turned to eleven and my ears were ringing for hours afterwards.

Ace of spades, anyone?

EDIT: I wonder how many teeth does Lemmy have left as he didn't have many back then.

Ofcourse I am kidding, I don't like many of modern rock bands, but I love the songs by Motorhead...hehe kept singing ace of spades with friends on Singstar, I think it was singstar.

Nice one, should be a good gig man. If Hawkwind ever visit your neck of the woods go and see them...... the kings of space rock (Lemme used to be their lead singer).. they'll blow your head clean off your shoulders.

Audiogeddon for sure.

Pinkie.

I've never been a fan of Motörhead's music, but ever since I've seen Chralotte Roche's interview with Lemmy, I have a lot of respect for this - for me unexspectedly - intelligent and humourous man.

Greetings from Hannover!

If you have the time, read his autobiography, "White Line Fever". Interesting, funny and borderline amazing to read (it's been medically proven that his blood, through all his drug usage, would kill the average human). Highly recommended for anyone who likes to read or is interested in Lemmy.

How's the guy's hearing now? I wouldn't be surprised if he's practically deaf or on hearing aids by now...like his fans! JK

A motorhead album is a perfect way to test how forgiving or unforgiving your setup is.

I saw them a couple times in the 1980's.......I wouldn't see them now even if music is still decent, a matter of principle.

Rock/Metal is different from classical, jazz and other styles.....it is about youthful rebellion and ideals, lyrics about these subjects sound silly being sung by 50-60yr old men. More power to them to make a buck, but seriously time to move on to ther things Motorhead.....pass the torch.
