moto g quality?

Hi, i'm going to buy a pair of 50€ earphones (don t know which one yet), bit i don t know which mp3 player to buy, roght now i nave a motorola moto g as smartphone and a Sony nwz-b170, with decent earphones which one is better? I nave to buy i batter mp3 player?

I have a moto g and I dislike the sound a lot! The bass is very muddy with my ak m500s as if its severely underpowered. So I have to assume the sony is better.

I think all qualcomm devices use the same qualcomm DAC, so probably very similar to the Nexus 5, Galaxy S4, etc.

Moto g automatically set a crappy effect and it's sound awful, remove it and it's sound a lot better

I have disabled all audio effects and the sound quality is actually very good - certainly better than my nexus s and even Sony nwz-s639f Walkman. The volume is also pretty good - it can even drive my Senn HD650 and sounds very good with px100

I got a moto g recently, they sound pretty decent with monoprice 8323s.
