Most ignored kinds of ears here?

Since nobody can own all the headphones in the world, more often than not we rely on what other people's opinion to get an idea about the sound characteristics of headphones.

But in my long stay here, it has been obvious that not all people's opinions are rated equally.

In particular, I've noticed two kinds of people whose ears are most uniformly ignored...

1. DJs
2. Mastering engineers

Would anyone like to offer an explanation for this phenomenon?
