Hi, I purchased an amazing amplifier and I need a dac to match it up to. I have the LD MKVI+ amp which is on par with or better than the WA22 amp. I also own the HD800 headphones which are one of the most revealing headphones.
I want to buy a dac that will not let me down.
I know some people day that "dacs are all the same" but IMO unless they did personal testing with high quality recordings with equivalent quality equipment to mine then I don't buy it.
What is the most bang for buck fully balanced dac I can buy up to $700?
I don't care for dsd playback, I just want a pure dac.
