A few weeks ago, MOONDROP gives some hints about their new planar in-ear earphone, STELLARIS, it is aptly named and has the same gorgeous look as the popular Starfield. The deep blue housing is imbued with shimmering sparkles, the shiny painted like a stunning sky with the countless golden hand-painted! Holy hell, it's available now at an acceptable price tag of $109.99! Move ahead!

MOONDROP applies a 14.5mm planar architecture and creates this planar in-ear headphone with excellent performance and a cost-effective price tag. This acoustic structure of the driver has been meticulously tuned and by attaching an independent built-in acoustic cavity to accurately control the resonant frequency of the system, linear distortion performance has been optimized, creating a more natural timbre.

It adopts a fully symmetrical magnetic circuit composed of 7+7 N52H magnets. It is precisely arrayed during mold assembly, delivering lower harmonic distortion and higher magnetic circuit efficiency, and producing a maximum magnetic flux at the magnetic gap close to 1 Tesla, resulting in clearer sound quality.

The driver of the STELLARIS utilizes a sub-nanometer diaphragm with a thickness of 1um, stretched tightly on the bracket at uniform tension. The vibration of the diaphragm generates ampere power to drive vibration and sound through a snake-shaped etched circuit with an accuracy of up to 2um and a magnetic field parallel to the diaphragm. This high-precision, ultra-thin, uniformly stressed diaphragm structure can deliver lower split vibration and nonlinear distortion in the vibration process, and generate a more transparent and melodious timbre with clearer details.

Except for the configuration, STELLARIS comes with two kinds of ear-tips, the foam MIS-TIPS ear-tips and Softears UC ear-tips to meet your needs, ensuring the lossless sound quality of bass under pressure, improved bass performance without any bleeding into the treble, and all-round improvement.

MOONDROP always offers the VDSF Target Response based on the HRTF, reproducing soundstage imaging in terms of frequency response. Relying on the excellent nonlinear distortion of the 14.5mm driver and the time-proven acoustic tuning of the shell, STELLARIS has an excellent acoustic performance index that lifts it above most planar in-ear headphones. The performance is not only comparable to flagship dynamic driver earphones in terms of nonlinear distortion, but also has a frequency response performance that is highly consistent with the VDSF Target Response based on HRTF and optimized for listening characteristics. The result is more accurate sound reproduction with richer, more natural details.

The overall comfort of the STELLARIS is decent due to the tiny shell size. Not only is the build incredible, but the fit specifically is absurdly good. Head over to the detailed page for having closer look! Live chat or email support@shenzhenaudio.com for any questions.

Wow, $109 for a planar iem?! It's just so interesting how they got the magnet setup like full-sized headphones in such a miniature form! Especially at such cost! It's a mini HIfiman. lol

Please provide the measurements.

Alright, I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest you think about your marketing prose. There are some here that will not buy simply because there is absolutely NOTHING holy about hell. May God bless you.

My review unit should be on the way. Looking forward to this late entry from Moondrop!
This is intriguing for sure - that price… if it’s even just 50% of what it on paper could deliver it’s a steal.

I think there are measurements available online already by some people.

so those sensitive to piercing treble should steer clear?
