Hmmm... from his presentation just dismissing the 2021 Hana I don't know. Plus, his taste in music does not necessarily jive with mine. I will reserve judgement until I have had some good quality time with the Kato.

Has anyone had theirs ship yet? They were supposed to start shipping around the end of this month, at least what I was told on Ali express a few weeks ago by moondrop.

Well it says ship by 10/15 on Apos. No rush for me as I am enjoying my Z7 and Variations.
I gave Otto my compensation file for the Dayton mic. It is based on the averaged delta between dozen of my raw measurements with the Dayton mic and IEC-compliant measurements from Crinacle and Antdroid, and I'd say it's pretty accurate up to at least 10 kHz.

Anyone have any experience with the matt finish on the Kato? Specifically, I'm wondering if the facets on the matt version affect the comfort in comparison to the polished and smooth version.
