I just went onto eBay. Easily the best deal on the regular Kanas I've seen so far, but there's the usual risks involved with eBay purchases.

I'm probably on the other side of the fence. I think KPE is plenty enough thickness and bass presence. E5000 looks much warmer, and on the darker side.

Right now I have the Io, and I am buying the E-5000 sometime this month. Both driven by Mojo. That will give take care of my crystal cathedral sound and hot tub of butter sound.

I want one more IEM to fit the middle. KPE sounds perfect as long as it isn’t sibilant. Reports mix. Would the Kanas regular or KPE fit a Sundara-like sound more (smooth but present treble, rich mids, good sub bass)?

All will be driven by Mojo and sometimes DFR. So chain will add some warmth. Also will probably get the Polaris II and/or B-Stock Atlas and maybe one of the Fiio’s before I’m done. The appeal of many IEMs is I can collect for once and not cram up my Queens one-bedroom. I’m the opposite of a hoarder, and when I had more than three pairs of headphones, I felt claustrophobic. Yes I see a psychiatrist.

ive read a simple review in one of the shopping sites. Maybe Aliexpress if im not mistaken. The signature is the same. They said that the new KXXS has a better packaging. Refined bass and a tad better mids. I guess if you already own kanas pro, it does not worth the upgrade. But for a new buyer, that's definitely a better buy.
