Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread

Always a fan of a review site on Zhihu, Chose Headphones. Knowing them and Moondrop having a collaboration on an $160 IEM by the name of X-01 automatically put it on my buy list. I have nothing but good feeling about it. So far the Ch1n9 reviews has been stellar, comparable to ER4XR (same drivers anyway). Hope this picture turns out well. x01.jpg
when is gonna be out and what is the exact brand, i cant find "Chose Headphones"

My Moondrop Blessing 2 review is up. Quite an enjoyable listen
https://banbeu.com/moondrop-blessing-2-review/

Questions dude:
1) what size of tips do you normally use???
2) I was curious if you felt the nozzle were short; I actually thought these were on the longer side of the spectrum. The nozzles can go deep into the canals.

I can see your disappointment though, I think reviewers like HBB/BGGAR won't find much love for it due to the lack of bass -- I've been to a "pseudo" hip-hop party where they were ballin with the expensive venue, though it ultimately sucked because the sub woofers weren't even working, and was actually gone from the mix. Huh.

This is a niche tuning indeed. Haha. A one -trick-pony? Maybe!

It's a pretty decent one none the less.

Smallest one. My ear is really small and the Blessing 2 was somewhat an oversized fit for me.

The disclaimer was based on my personal impression along with other people who wore the blessing 2 that I lend them during my usual weekly trip around the town to listen to earphones.

It's not a big problem for me personally because even the Z1R lasts in my ear for 6 hours but I feel like these thing tends to be more of a problem if it is others.

Any KXXS successor on the horizon?

The matte black KXXS? It'll use a different driver coating.

From their filter announcement thread:
the black matte KXXS has a slightly different sound though, it was using liquid crystal polymer similar to chaconne instead of DLC coated diaphragm.

I'm just not sure but it seems to be a Drop exclusive, though.

Did they mention when it comes out?

I saw someone asking that on their Discord, it's not certain yet but it seems not that far. Very likely we'll see the SSR and its bro sooner.
