That's too bad, but I only really wanted the MTP. Already had the MT and they were not terrible but needed improvement on the highs. I expect the MTPs will fill that gap. A good deal is a good deal, morals aside. It's not like they are made be 8-year-old slaves, I hope.

Now you tell me. LOL. Oh well, I can always return them. I wasn't even interested, but like a QVC junkie, I could not pass up a bargain. Also, I can sell them on FS too, at a very good price to a HFer.
Okay, are they better than the PR1 Pro? Honestly.

A little OT, ever heard the Playaz N1? PM me if you have and how it compares to the PR1 Pro.

You mentioned your morals. No one says Monster makes crappy products (overpriced or overhyped, maybe), so if the price is right ...

No I totally get it, and I would probably do the same thing. I just question the fact that they are not made in a sweat shop by an 8 year old lol. Anyway I have met my daily quota of ripping on Monster now.

Let's hope not (the child labor thing). I am no Monster fan either, believe me. I am among the #1 promoter of cheap HDMI and A/V cables, nearly cringing every time I see someone holding a Monster cable in their arms at Best Buy.

They are very different from the PR1s. I'm not bass junkie so anything with more than moderate bass levels starts sounding muddy and uncontrolled to me. The MTPs are good phones and I feel uncomfortable saying anything specific since I've only had them for two days. I just expected more of a 'wow' factor out of the box with them than the original Turbines and I didn't get that. Then again I've been using the CK10 all week so that might have an effect.
