I am not sure if it burn in or not but I was reluctant to send my well sounded year old MD back knowing I will get a new one and have to do it all over again :frowning2:

Ought to be. I found them to be very muffled and incoherent when I listened to them straight out of the box.

I left them with some pink/white noise for 20 hours and when I get back they sounded much better already. I believe most dynamics tend to be like that?

Initial impressions + thoughts
Literally OUT THE BOX impressions! Dynamics change A LOT in sound, with burn-in - so remember that!
-Amazing box contents
-Beautiful design
-Lovely, quite heavy box
-Cable is a little tangle prone
-Nice colour of cable
-Bass is over-powereing (yup more mid bass than the MG7's - almost TFTA styled)
-Superb mids and highs
-What, are these burned in or something? lol - They already sound great!
-Sound stage a little muffled
-Comply T400's in blue, they fit well for the colour :p - much more comfortable than the stock tip (olive shaped)
-Doing really well atm...hmmm these are sounding like keepers, MG7's might be facing the FS forum.

Literally first hear of these and they are very, very impressive!

indeed!
And they are so soft :D

No idea why these T400's are the softest I've ever owned...!
Softer than my TX-400's I used to have, and softer than the TS-400's I had, and softer than the TX-500's

Must be their blue-ness
