Anyone tried this? Any impressions?

And somehow there are 2 listings on Amazon, with same original price $179.95.

First one is down to $58.94.

The only difference I can spot is that the heavily discounted one has an Apple control talk and the other one a universal control talk. I have no idea why that would justify such a price difference though. Moreover, Apple-specific products usually tend to be more expensive? Confusing.. :)

Can't comment on the IEMs themselves though, sorry!

I want to say, but can't guarantee, that the first one is fake looking at the price.  I didn't even know Monster made Diesel In-Ears :p

They do make that IEM, it has a massive 20mm driver in it.

That price is from Amazon versus a 3rd party seller so I believe it's legit. Good price if nothing else. Tempted but won't bite since it probably won't be available to Canadians plus I have a pair of FXZ100 coming in.

I can't find any specs on these... where do you see 20mm drivers listed? That's massive.

On Monsters website I think, if not it may have been the Futureshop website. Saw these in store today btw for $169 so that is a very good price if,your wanting to take the plunge. I imagine these will have plenty of bass at the least and if like some of the other Monster headphones I have heard lately will probably sound quite nice especially at that price point.

I decided to pick up a pair from a store with an easy return policy. So far they sound pretty good with very good imaging. The bass sounds a bit flabby though, so I am burning them in for the night to see if it improved. They seem to be mid/treble centric for the most part. The cable is quite interesting (triangular) and the phone mic/control is fancy looking. I am not fond of their L jack as it appears to focus on cool design at the cost of being to rigid and prone to being broken.

Not sure if I will keep them but will give a mini review before I take them back if I decide to return them.
