If you don't want to drop $150 like some of these suggestions, I did this and it helped a ton:

i hate you guys!! Been contemplating a new headband for a while. Still can justify spending 300 on can, 150 on headband and 80 on pads when i could have just got audeze's

Where's the fun in that? i do understand though,,,

As much as I like these headphones, I can't make that justification. I'm willing to spend ~$50 on mods, sure. But not >$200. I would rather just buy some better headphones at that point...

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I just wanted to provide a counterpoint to some that are willing to spend so much on mods.

Well, the reason I have no problem putting money into the M1060 is that I've owned LCD2.2 Pre-fazors, HE-560, MrSpeakers Aeon Flow open as well as some dynamic driver sets like the Focal Elear and they've all been sold off. I just like the M1060 better, so spending the money to make them much more comfortable and sound even better makes perfect sense to me.

I understand others might not feel the same way, I'm just explaining why I myself have done the more costly mods.

Hmmm... I wonder if I can make an adaptor so it can use modhouse's head strap... This way people won't have to pay for 150 bucks. I know I wouldn't

That looks like a nice strap! The foam cover mod I mentioned earlier looks very similar in comfort, but maybe the leather is nicer.

Yeah, they're very nice upgrades for T50RP and are standard on Argons. If we can integrate them... Particularly the deerskin

The resistor ladder dac I have in mind is Soekris 1021 to pair with m1060 but then again I like everything DIY(you can get them in modhouse too!) :D

Nope, you're not alone. I like my M1060 enough that when they had a sale I bought another pair as a spare, lol.

Yeah I've owned and demoed a lot of headphones and keep coming back to the M1060. Price to performance just can't be beat in my opinion.

I put some speaker grill cloth under the printed back covers, the grill screws are holding it in place, I think it helped the bass a bit. I was just trying to hide the driver but it has made a difference. So unlike the original foam that was in between and touching the driver the grill cloth is right behind the grill.
