I had hifiman he400i and i found them nice but too boring, I'm using now the M1060 v2 which i like more but off course they are not perfect, I'm considering to buy He560 but I'm not sure if they are so much better to make worth the change and i've read that many of them have many issues and not functioning parts

So if I got it right, it seems that if you dont consider top ones, all the others are more or less at the same level and the ones "you" like, they are the right ones.
Maybe to mod my M1060 could be an option, altough is not easy to get the 3D paint parts ,while i wonder which pads could be the right one, considering that it's impossible now to find Audeze alcantara ones

Honestly it's super easy to get the 3d printed parts. First option is to message @SomeTechNoob here. Or, if you prefer, go to the links he's so graciously listed in his profile and download the plans from thingiverse. Then just go to 3dhubs.com, upload the plans for the parts you want, and follow the instructions. I just ordered grills for my M1060c in gold for $8 a piece shipped.

Wow thank you I'm going to order them for sure and about pads? I've read many options but some are just too expensive compared to the m1060 price

thank you!

TBH I love the stock pads. I've never had to deal with the ringing issue some people hear so I've just stuck with what works. IMHO the grills are the only mod I've heard that make a really huge difference. The rest is small tweaking.

What improvements will different grills provide for an M1060 without ringing issues?

There are definitely variations in drivers. My original M1060 was brighter and had the ringing issue.
Replacement pair is darker and no ringing.

From my experience, a wider soundstage is the most notable difference when removing or replacing the stock grill.
