I met Maurice at CanJam London. As others have said. A lovely guy. Full of life. Donated and hoping for his recovery. It's people like him who make HeadFi what it is and I am pleased that we can try to help when our members need it.

Sweet news!!! Thank you.:ksc75smile::beerchug:

His sister posted the following:

"So grateful my brother Maurice Washington got through his surgery to remove his tumor and the clot, with NO complications! God is good!!!

Good news, indeed.

Maurice and Suzette visited us at Southend (35 miles east of London) pre-Canjam this year. We had a great day walking Southend Pier (longest in World) and having cocktails at cockle-sheds in Leigh-on-Sea, before coming to our house for a bbq.

Maurice emptied his rucksack and you wouldn’t believe the amount of iems, DACs and amps that covered our kitchen table! Such an engaging guy. One of the really Good Guys.

Praying you make a full recovery and we can resume Table Tennis at Bounce after Canjam London next year!

So pleased to hear surgery went well.

Seems that Maurice is back in SoCal and doing some walking but still having seizures...

I actually do not believe Moe is back in SoCal quite yet, as he is not yet in a strong enough condition to travel. The pictures that are typically posted with the FB updates are older pictures that Suzette is simply putting up, and are not indicative of his current location. Very happy to hear he is at least starting PT, though! Still, a long long road lays ahead for him :frowning2: Continuing to send positive thoughts his way!
