Hello I know I'm new to this forum so please disregard if I come out sounding like a possible idiot.  Anyways so for years I have a pair of headphones known as Syncs by 50.  I understand their quality is consumer-grade and not necessarily audiophile worthy.  But heres the thing.  I personally am astounded by their ability to make a wireless (NOT BLUETOOTH) set of headphones that work with a dongle and find it quite useful for when I am listening to analog audio whether its on my cassette players/decks (I am also a member on tape heads.net so tapes are my norm when it comes to audio playback), vinyl, or 8 track (I still don't have reel to reel because of its monstrous price).  Anyways out of boredom I found the speakers were quite easy to open so I thought If I could possibly replace the speakers using a website like digikey I could get a better quality from my headset (of course not the best) by desoldering new speakers inside.  From there I need your guys help to find what the best options would be to place inside my syncs.  Thanks and regards Audiophiles!,

If I remember right, those use Kleer Audio for their wireless - it isn't novel to that brand, and iirc Sennheiser (and probably others) has also released headphones using the same wireless system (supposedly one of them is essentially a "wireless HD 600"). Might be worth looking into. Tell mentions them using Kleer here:

5 seconds on Google, and ye shall receive:

There's also apparently some headphones from TDK (which I know nothing about, and which I don't even think I've seen a thread about one way or another, so who knows how they sound), and AKG. InnerFidelity also popped again:

The driver swap is certainly something you could play around with if you wanted to, but the results will probably be a mixed bag - what I mean is, you're relying on the built-in amplifier in the headphones (and it may have some EQ or whatever that's tailored to the drivers it assumes are going to be hooked up to it), which may not be powerful enough to drive (or drive nicely) some of the stuff you find (this is all speculation on my part). Alternatively even if that's not an issue, driver transplants really come down to "do it and listen and see if you like it" - maybe it ends up being great, maybe it doesn't. If it were me, I'd give a look to other wireless solutions that already exist, as you may be able to find what you're looking for in a more finished product.

Yeah well I would but Im sort of and unemployed Boarding school student so my budget is sorta limited.  Even if it does sound crappy I would like to test out replacing the speakers for people in the future who want to upgrade these headphones (even though the amount of people who want to do that is probably really low).  I would like to ask though for future resources in modifications what you guys would recommend for replacement.  When it comes to ohms, cone size, and all that stuff I'm sort of a noob so I would like to ask in that regard what type of speakers you guys would recommend for replacement.  Regards again,
