After letting my non-working linkwitz sit in my ppa for two months I decided to purchase another board and parts and just build again from scratch, but after I built it the same problem resurfaced - it does nothing. One thing I did stumble upon however is when I accidentally made a solder bridge between s1h1 and s1h2, and when switched on it would sound like crossfeed kicked in. Should I connect h1 and h2, as well as L1 and L2? And same problem with the bypass switch, should I connect any of the lugs together?

You got a picture without the wires all twisted together?

Try a simple experament.... adjust the balance on your source all of the way to one side and activate the Crossfeed.
Can you hear sound from the other side now?
Flip the perspective switch.... did it do anything?

heh sorry no pic with the wires not twisted together, its a real pain to solder and desolder all those wires so many times. Seems that when the balance is moved to one side, the crossfeed switch still does absolutly nothing but the bypass switch mixes the channel very very slightly when enabled

Yea, I know what a PITA wiring those switches is.
It is even worse when you have to rewire them cause you fuxored it and the wires are all to short after fixing it.
If it was me I would bite the bullet.....remove the bypass/enable switch and jumper the pads to make sure the circuit is working OK. ... then put the switch back in.
Remember when you are stuck it's usually easier to simplify the circuit and work from there.
It makes those little mistakes all that easier to spot.

Haha oh how I know that, my switch wires are about a cm short of needing a whole new rewiring job, which I really dont want to do since there's about 4 feet left of silver wire on the switches. But ill take your advice and just jumper this stuff and hope some miracle fix pops up in my face, thanks

ok after jumpering the pads, the same thing happens as if it was hooked to the switches. I have the RCA jacked hooked up to input, and the output going to the PPA, and the capacitors are put into whichever holes they fit the best, any more ideas?
