So, as some might remember, I'm getting a pair of Grado SR-60's for X-Mas (yay!), but I have recently aquired a Creative Zen Vision: M in replacement of my iPod, which I shall say has way better SQ, and is by far the first MP3 player I have found to sound good on a flat EQ. (Correction: I have to boost the 13k +7dB for my liking) I have noticed that this player lets the Super.fi 3's shine and gives them fairly decent bass response and therefore has made my top IEM the SF3's once again. (The Ety's and I are kind of mad at each other: I don't really care for the flanges and the foams are starting to give way after about 3 months of use. Someone willing to give me a pair of black olives would be nice

). Anyways, I LOVE the SF3's now...like literally...but I feel that I want a bit more bass (I've tried EQ'ing it, doesn't sound natural) but I'm not sure of which pair of IEM's will add bass for me. I want more, but not overbearing (i.e. SF5 EB's), but maybe more around the SF5 Pro's? Price range around $150, give or take $10, but no more. I'm willing to stretch for Pro's or say something Shure? Thanks for the help.

Definitely try out the the Future Sonic Atrio M5s. They have awesome full and accurate bass and great soundstage for an IEM. Definitely recommended. You can get them on eBay for $130 from RoadDogOnline which is a reputable seller and many here have bought from them. I'd also recommend getting the Shure Olives for them as well. It greatly improves fit and comfort.

I took a glance at the Future Sonics, but after reading about them it seems they have more bass than I want (SF5 Pro's maybe?). I'm still open for more opinions. Are there any Shure IEM's besides the SE530's that are good with bass?

Also....It shows on roaddogs site that they are $159...anyone know how to acquire them for $130?

You should give a look at the Denon AH-C700s. I will be posting my detailed review around 5 pm CST today, if all goes well. I cannot recommend them enough.

Just make them an offer of US$130 and they will accept. You can see in their feedback that they have sold a few and the lowest price is $130, but others who do not know about the "make an offer" facility just bought them for the stated $159 price tag.

link please? sorry, no internet at home right now, and this computer is reaaaaaalllllllly slow. I do want to keep the highs and mids of the super.fi 3's, but I just want a little more bass....but I'm definitely not looking for basshead IEM's.

It sounds like the 5Pros are what you're looking for. You can get them pretty cheap these days. They will have the extra bass you're looking for while keeping the other qualities you like as well.

have you tried the sf3's and if so, are the high's on the sf5 pro's like that on the sf3's?

I haven't tried the SF3's. I can from Shure E2s prior. I find the mids to be pretty smooth (not as much as Shure) and the highs to sparkle just enough without being sibilant. I really got these for the full body sound without losing the top end.

Yeah, definitely sounds like that's what I'm looking for. Thanks for the info. Muchas appreciated.
