Hello,

I'm undecided between the Mjolnir 2 vs Lyr 3. The Mjolnir seems to have the advantage because being balanced and slight higher power capabilities.
The Lyr is the fresher unit and is more desk friendly because of the smaller size.

I'm missing some push in the right direction, someone can help?

I use mostly planars like Argons, Aeon 2 or low impedance dynamics like Beyerdynamic t5p or HarmonicDyne Zeus.

I think it would be tough to differentiate sound characteristics without some serious A-B'ing. I have both and I can barely tell, this is not blind testing but 🤷‍♂️

That being said - the main differences are the balanced outputs, the slight power differences, and the tubes. If you want to explore tube-rolling I suggest the Lyr 3 - which has a very common single tube, and imo makes an audible difference when swapped (depending on the tube of course).
