Can anyone give opinion on Mint vs Cmoy. Is the difference subtlee oor significant when using the same 9v and same OPA2132 op-amp? I am deciding which one to go for $20 difference in cost. And how is OPA2132 op-amp perform on Mint?

I'd take the sound of an AD8620 on a MINT board over an OPA2132 on a META42 board any day. Just my opinion.

Sorry for being off the topic but how do I order Meta42? It seems that I have to ask certain individual in this forum, like JMT etc, to build it for me or something...is this correct?

Could I trouble you with one more elementary question?
How is the Meta42 compare with Zen Super Mini? I really like the size of super mini but is the perfomance comparable to widely respected Meta42?

depends how the META is configured, but it is usually better than a Super Mini although the Super Mini is great for both the size and the price of it!

is the mint a meta42 board based amp?
coz a mint can also be a cmoy in a mint/

if it is a meta42 board based amp in a mint - go for the mint instead of a cmoy.

Hi, I mean mint (mini version of Meta42) vs cmoy, both in the mint gum can and based on OPA2132 op amp.

BTW, how much more will i have to pay for AD8620 and is upgrade only op amp will impact the sound that much?

Nothing if you do the 'free sample' program at Analog Devices. Otherewize, about $12ea. from tangent.

BTW: I had the opa2132 in my cha47 and the sound was ok but not in the league of the ad8620.

In the MINT, the op-amp is biased, so that impacts the overall performance as well. In my opinion, the MINT would be a much better choice to build.
