Finally got my Hammond 1455J case and am measuring for all the holes. It looks to me like the volume pot, when firmly attached to the Mint board is really close to being about center of the faceplate...but not exactly center!

So how does anyone get it to be centered? It looks like I could grab the dremel and nip off the ends of the tabs that hold the volume pot in place.

Any guesses? Or does everyone just deal with it being slightly higher than center on the faceplate?

Okay, never mind. DONE! Nipped off the legs, then carefully ground the nubs down. That extra 1/8" gets the board low enough that it lines up correctly on the faceplate. And now...more drilling.
